Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4)

We measure traffic with Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. It loads only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner; until then, nothing is sent to Google. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). GA4 sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which last up to 2 years. Data may be transferred to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. No data is sold.

Cookies and your choice

Your choice (accept or decline) is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key happypetlab-consentement for 183 days, after which the banner is shown again. You can change your mind at any time: manage cookies.

Affiliate links

Once affiliate programmes are active, some links may go through an affiliate network. When you click one, the network and the merchant may set cookies on their own domains to attribute a possible purchase. Their own privacy policies apply. Happy Pet Lab receives no personal data about you from them.

Server logs

Our host, o2switch (France), records technical logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser) for security and the proper running of the service, for a limited period. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@happypetlab.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the French CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
