Test devices: donations preferred

For hands-on testing we prefer donated devices: the device stays at the lab and can be reused in later comparisons. A loan is accepted only if it costs the lab nothing: shipping both ways paid by the brand, no deposit and no liability for damage or loss. Either way, the test page states where the device came from.

No hidden sponsored content

• No manufacturer reviews or approves a page before publication.
• A donation or loan guarantees neither a positive verdict nor publication.
• Any paid content would be labelled “sponsored” at the top of the page; we publish none at present.
• Affiliate links are labelled and carry rel="sponsored"; see our affiliate disclosure.
